Here's Your God Of Thunder

Very Nordic, eh? Yes, earlier this summer it was announced that Chris Hemsworth had been cast in the Thor movie scheduled for 2011, playing opposite Natalie Portman. Hemsworth was in Star Trek earlier this year as Capt. Kirk's dad in flashback. In the few months since this announcement, it seems Chris has been hitting the gym, because he's put on some muscle! He's shown here at LAX, where apparently he was noticed by some fans (and paparazzi of course). What do you guys think? Nay, or Verily?

Oh, verily, specially if he can rock a beard.

Looks very Steve Rogers-ish to me, but it's probably just the short crop hair. Question is, can he pull off the goldilocks look? Any photographic evidence, maybe?

Hot, but faaaar too young-looking.
Thor should be middle aged, not some baby-faced guy.

I agree with Monkey, three thumbs WAY up. He's gorgeous. I really hope they get him shirtless at some point in the movie!

Question! Who should play Dr. Donald Blake? This probably won't be that important until The Avengers Movie, but I hear it might be in the end of Thor, either as an after credit scene, or the very last scene.

I say thee, Yay!

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
