Wolverine Gets An Edit - But For Good Or Bad?
It seems that a fairly major-minor plot point has been leaked from the mighty castle of FOX and the Wolverine film. It seems like nothing can stay secret in this production. Today's the day of Wolverine film overload and spillage.
Spoilers beware as it concerns the film's finale, so if you want to be surprised come May 1st do not make the jump. If you like surprises like the Elephant Man likes turtlenecks, then jump away!
Okay. Remember how, at the end of film, Professor X was supposed to mentally lead Cyclops and Emma Frost and a gaggle of others mutants out of the Weapon X headquarters but it wasn't going to be Patrick Stewart?Now it is. Apparently Stewart will have his head CG'ed onto the actor's body (since that filming has long since been done) and he'll be "Benjamin Button'ed" to look the appropriate age, much like he did at the beginning of X-Men 3. So this is good news, although it doesn't even come close to making up for the Deadpool Debacle.
The writer of the Topless Robot article claims this is not an April Fool's day joke and I'm willing to believe him. I could definitely see FOX CEO Tim Rothman scrambling to make this movie tie into the X-Men franchise as much as possible.
