Video: Green Lantern - First Flight
Well, color me excited! The newest hero getting the stand-alone animated movie treatment from DC is Green Lantern! Sinestro is the main villain and looks to be in his awesome Sinestro Corps outfit, leading me to wonder if we'll ever get a Sinestro War/Blackest Night/War of Lights movie. God wouldn't that be fantastic.
Abin Sur looks a little funky but I like it. No Guardians get shown. Oh and yes, the movie has Kilowog. (he's the best one) The Green Lantern suits look a bit more armored than normal.
The release date is only specified as Summer 2009. I'm wager it will be out around Comic-con and we'll see a panel on it. There's also a neat little documentary about GL and the making of the movie at the movie site.
