JSA Teases Me With Mary Marvel's Old Costume
DC, why do you taunt me so?
I won't give away the ending of this weeks issue of JSA, but the cover is writing a check that the contents can't cash. All I want is for Mary to be back in that sexy black costume, but she remains in that terrible Apokolips getup.
Seriously, Mary Marvels black costume was the one thing I loved about Countdown. Why do they have to ruin it?

It kind of feels like they're ruining the Captain Marvel characters, but it is entertaining.
I couldn't believe the straight guys drooling over the obvious panty shot with the old costume! Ridiculous!
But on the plus side, at least Johns is trying to fix all of the mistakes that've been made to the Marvel family since Infinite Crisis. It's especially great that he's un-Morrisoned Mary's costume, and we won't have to see that Japanese-punk atrocity ever again.
Now if Johns could only bring Martian Manhunter back to life and give him back his old costume of blue briefs and red bondage straps...
I do have to say that I am a fan of Billy's thunder crotch costume. But in all seriousness, I'm hoping for a new series with these characters because I like them and I don't like how their stories keep unfolding all over the place.
