Rain. Blah.

Busy day. Blah.

Want to sleep. Blah.

AGGROgator. Yay!

BAM! ... We're going to start this week's fun off with a very simple conceit. Here is a collection of just simply kickass comic book artwork. Doesn't get any simpler or better than that.
_____

BAM! ... Have you ever been this close to nabbing your archenemy and throwing him in prison (or maybe you're on the other side and were this close to throwing your archenemy into a volcano)? Well, next time you're low on crime fighting (or crime committing) supplies just head over to Brooklyn's Superhero Supply Store and stock up on the essentials. Just remember, if you're more of the villainous type, make sure you have a good disguise when purchasing.
_____

BAM! ... The Mindless Ones have up a nifty interview with artist Cameron Stewart. You should read it ... or you won't be my friend anymore.

______

BAM! ... We can't go an entire column without a top ten list of some sort, right? I think they're why the internet was invented in the first place. This week, the 2 Comic Book Guys have a rundown of the best Wolverine fights to see print. Pop some claws and get ready for some serious throwdowns.
_____

BAM! ... If anyone was doubting the ability for Michel Gondry's Green Hornet film to look badass, for shame! Firs of all, it's Michel-freakin'-Gondry. That should be enough. If it isn't, take a look at this fan made film and be assured that the Hornet and his trusty sidekick Kato can still be pretty smooth.
_____

BAM! ... Ever wonder what some of the rarest comic books are? Some are obvious, like Action Comics #1, but some may surprise you. How about the fact that two of them are from within the last ten years? Check out Cover Browser to see the whole shebang.
_____

BAM! ... Finally for this week, I bring you savings and entertainment ... well, two-thirds entertainment, anyway. Amazon is offering a 31% discount on the pre-release for the X-Men trilogy on Blu-Ray. It's a strange percentage (it's odd, too *rimshot*), but it equates to about $25 off. Not bad if I do say so myself. Buy it from the link above (this link right here too!) and you'll help support PK in all its many important duties ... like providing you with fan made films of Golden Age strip characters. Yes, I am vital to this world.

I never read how Wolvie got his adamantium back. Was it really taken from Sabretooth? O_o

It was indeed. In the constant one-upping of each other, Creed had Adamantium infused to his body at one point during the bone claws years. He didn't pop the three blades like Wolverine, but the tips of his fingers were Adamantium laced - until Apocalypse ripped it out of him to give it to Wolverine as the new Death.

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
