Video: Watchmen Opening Credits!

The fantastic people over at yU+Co, who did the amazing opening credits for Watchmen have put them online! The credits condense a lot of 'Minuteman' history and extra material into one stunning music video, set to Bob Dylan's The Times They Are a-Changin'. Not only is the song a reference from the Graphic Novel (quoted at the end of one of the chapters), the story elements shown sync incredibly well to what is being said in the song. It's eerie.

This video also contains several of the gay moments I referred to in my initial impressions post.

Comic of the Week

Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
