Spider-Man Musical Gets An All New Villain - With A Rediculous Name

CHUD.com has a story via the New York Post that sheds some light on the forthcoming Spider-Man Broadway show. Even with the casting news and slightly off-putting title to the show, the biggest question surrounding the production is still just who the villain will be. You can't have a Spider-Man show without the villain and there has been nary a word about that particular facet of the story - until now.
Berger and Taymor have invented a new baddie for the show -- Swiss Miss, whose costume, designed by Oscar winner Eiko Ishioka ("Bram Stoker's Dracula"), consists of rotating knives and swirling corkscrews.
Swiss Miss? Really?
I'm still giving this show the benefit of the doubt given the talent of those involved, but they're testing it here. Admittedly, this does sound like a classic Stan Lee villain from back in the day, so it's entirely possible director Julie Taymor really is using the original run for inspiration as she claims.
Regardless, I'll be at the Hilton Theater in January for the opening.

Ugh...this is going to be a real trainwreck.
