Do you like social networking, but do you hate the flat and boring world of 2D?

Well, there is hope!

IMVU.com offers a chat room atmosphere but with fully customizable avatars and personalities. Imagine Xbox Live avatars all hanging around internet chat rooms and hanging out.

Now, what does this have to do with comic books?

Beginning today, there are a flock of marauding robo-bunnies into the IMVU world and it's up to you to create a superhero avatar and hunt down the little miscreants. The most creative heroes will be immortalized within the IMVU world and also win some in-game money to buy more and more virtual swag.

If you always wanted to be a virtual superhero but could never get into City of Heroes, you just found your Grail!

Check out IMVU.com for the full details and to sign up.

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
