Ray Wall Watches The Watchmen

You guys remember The Ray Wall band, right? Of course you do! They're the cats that released the wicked "Fantastic Four Song" and "The Joker" not too long ago. Well, the band's back with a new track simply titled "Watchmen." You only get one guess to figure out what it's about. I've listened to it a couple of times already, and can happily recommend it. It seems like Ray's style evolves with each new track produced, and "Watchmen" is no exception. While "The Joker" was a little dark (but still perfectly campy), "Watchmen" takes it to a whole new level (which works very well here, considering the source). Go give it a listen. PRESS RELEASE: RAY WALL BAND'S WATCHMEN SONGRay Wall Band, creators of "Comic Book Rock" music, has just released their new single inspired by the greatest graphic novel of all time. "WATCHMEN" is a hard hitting, dark lyric, spot-on tribute to the mysterious world of fallen super-heroes. The band, which has done projects on The X-Men, Fantastic Four, Dark Knight and others, succeeds again in bringing comic books "to your ears" in their most ambitious track yet. The group's music can be found on iTunes, and can be heard now on their myspace pages.
Says Ray Wall:
"The Watchmen novel presents so many different complexities that one can focus on; their mid-life crisis, their fall from grace in society, old scores to settle, lost love and more. To me what stood out was that these ordinary people put themselves on the line and did extraordinary things for the people. But at the end of the day, they have the same contradictory mix of faults and virtues that we all do. I wanted the song to reflect that on a grand level and give enough story content so that even the uninitiated could understand the Watchmen's world."
