Hollywood Slays Comic Book Films: News At 11:00

Supascoot over at Bam! Kapow! has a treatise up on the relationship to Hollwood and the comic book genre of films that have exploded of late. Admittedly, it's not a revelatory notion that greed has killed some possibly great comic book films (Daredevil, I'm looking at you ... Elektra, you're fine because you were doomed to suck before you even started rolling), but it's an interesting point he makes as to where the transition occurs.
There is a specific timeline of films and you can almost see right where the movie executives thought, "Hey! These can make money - let's ruin them."
Head over to Bam! Kapow! for the essay.
