Il Palazzo's Weekly Heroes Rant!

Welcome to Il Palazzo's Weekly Heroes Rant! Each week, I hope to inspire you to get off your couch (after watching Heroes), and jump into your computer chair (so you can read about Heroes). Beware though, I'll be recapping each episode as it airs, so spoilers will abound. Look forward to my often-wrong theories, erratic comments, and comparisons to the comics the show steals material from is inspired by. Hit the jump for my rant on this week's episode!
Great, so Matt doesn't just need to paint the future now. He can just go white eyed and cryptic. Ironically, if he used his REAL powers, he could have just forced the bad guys to go to sleep or something.
Anyone else expect the main gung-ho soldier guy to die in a horrible horrible way soon?
"Rednecks make better lov-" Oh, poor Hiro. He officially has the worst luck ever.
Ando's wearing extra tight shirts now. Just like a main character should. *groan*
Uh....Who were the Campbells? They seem like they were just thrown in to the mix out of nowhere. Was there a webcomic I missed or something?
HAHAHAHAHAH. Noah called it an "Initiative."
Am I the only one curious as to how Ando's power works on other characters? Like Claire? Or Traci?
They killed Daphne already? Oh, son of a bitch. I really liked her! Until I see a corpse I won't believe it! Just throw some of Claire's blood in there. That always works!
I'm starting to think Noah might be working some kind of angle. I'm expecting the Haitian to show up at any minute and confirm that. Yep. Any minute now.
Aw...Sylar took on an intern. How cute. How soon do you think he'll bite it?
I wonder when they'll get around to explaining exactly what Tracy's story is? Ok, I just want to see more Micah. You got me.
HELL YEAH! Looks like Mama Petrelli's about to get back in the game!
How long until it everything finally explodes in Nathan's face and we see who the REAL bad guy is? Yeah, I think someone's still working behind the scenes. There hasn't been anything to hint to that, but Nathan's always been a puppet. Then again, this could just be him finally thinking for himself. Attaway to botch that up, big guy.

1. Matt should have been able to take over the whole operation with Ando's hand on his shoulder.
2. yeah, gung ho soldier MUST die horrible at Syler's hands
3. The Campells were neighbors of Syler's father - Young super-powered sociopath with powers a few doors down? Think Sylar's daddy got around?
4. Yeah Clair needs to bleed into Daphne. I don't want her dead. They just killed her to make it harder for the Heroes to get around (same reason they depowered Hiro)
5. Noah BETTER be working an angle - I just don't buy him drinking Nathan's kool-aid.
6. I love it that Sylar is first character with a teenage sidekick.
7. I want to see Micah and Monica Dawson!
8. I know what you mean about Nathan being a dupe, his actions are stupid and shortsighted but he isn't evil. We need a bigger evil.
9. So Ando thinks Hiro's vision from beginning of Villains is still going to come true... So what causes the kille black void? And how can we avoid it.
1. Agreed. After everything with his dad, they kind of established how broken Matt's supposed to turn out. If only he used his real powers.
3. The way they introduced them made it seem like characters we should already know. And I agree about Sylar's dad. I bet Gabriel's not the only superpowered guy in that family....
4. I didn't even think of that. It does make sense that she could have just rushed everyone off to some remote island. Dammit, now I think she's actually dead. :-(
6. You mean Claire's not Peter's?
7. I still think we might see Micah. When that happens, I'll start holding my breath for Monica.
This is the first episode in several months (hiatus notwithstanding) that really got me into the show again.
Luke: I saved your life!
Sylar: And I let you live--that's kind of a big deal for me.
My favorite part of the whole episode. (Paraphrased, of course!)
Daphne dead--hmm...I agree with Il Palazzo--no body, no death.
Yah, I noticed Ando's tight shirt, too.
Out of sequence responses, but I finally got to remember how much I liked this show--hopefully they won't fuck it up like season 2 (stupid writer's strike!)
I think EVERYONE noticed Ando's shirt. How can he breathe in that thing?
It's his other ability.
Is anyone else dreading that Hiro's going to be right for once and there's some weird mystical-destiny thing going on here? I mean, what was up with the light that gave people powers, and then the big black cloud thing that kills everyone in the future? And Matt's a prophet? Please tell me this is just some schemer's scheme. I like my "realistic"-sci-fi-TV-dramas to have regular evil instead of magickal evil.
But seriously when is claire going to die! I'm so sick of her character now :( Someone needs to take her out someway. Oh and as for Daphne she's not dead :( I like her too and was actually happy that heroes might be killing characters off again, sadly not the case. I checked Imdb and she listed in the most recent episode filmed and the info for the episode was something about Matt and I forget who going to rescue her :(
