AGGROgator: The Big Apple Bites Back

306354024JJZVba_fs.jpg

A little late and a whole lot of dollars short. Most of the industry is living it up at the New York Comic Con this weekend and I should be as wel, but sadly no. The Universe is having too much fun knocking me around these days. Yay!

Ow, my spleen. Damnable Universe.

Check out the Gator's findings for this week while I go look for some bandages ... and maybe a shotgun. Universe, this time it's personal!

__________

BAM! ... One of the more fun and successful video games of late was Marvel: Ultimate Alliance of a few years ago. Cramming a ton of characters in and transporting you to a slew of Marvel locations across the universe, the game was a fanboys wet dream. Well, here comes the second go-around as we see the first trailer for Ultimate Alliance 2, or as it should be known Civil War: The Video Game.
_____

BAM! ... A few months ago, the online magazine The A.V. Club put up a snazzy list of the most famous recluses and shut-ins. While people like J.D. Salinger and Harper Lee may have made the list with little surprise, our very own hermit and co-creator of Spider-Man is also among the lonely. Steve Ditko clocks in at number five on the list and brings with him a bit of animosity for good old Stan.
_____

BAM! ... In what could be the coolest domain name ever, HowToKillPeople.com have a list of the fifty coolest comic characters ever. While not normally a big deal, it's an interesting list containing characters that don't usually make lists of this sort including the X-Men's Marrow and even Trencher and Mathew Roth from DMZ.
_____

BAM! ... Has anyone ever made fun of you for being afraid of Batman? Well, show them this and they will laugh no more.
_____

BAM! ... And if that didn't make you afraid of Crazy Bruce, this sure as hell will!

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
