Spider-Man Musical Gets An MJ

We all know about the Spider-Man musical that will be hitting Broadway come 2010. Directed by Julie Tamor of Titus and Across the Universe fame, as well as creator of the Lion King show for Broadway, the musical will be many things but understated is probably not one of them. The news today is of the casting variety - the red headed casting variety! CHUD.com is reporting (via IESB) that Evan Rachel Wood will be donning some red hair for the role of Mary Jane Watson. She starred in Tamor's Across the Universe alongside Peter Parker hopeful Jim Sturgess.

I'll have my ticket for previews once it comes up, will you be there with me?

Comic of the Week

Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
