Oh, Look! Kick-Ass!
Moriarty over at AICN just got back from merry ol' England where he stepped onto the Kick Ass set. He's got a full write up and a nifty image of our titular hero and the Red Mist, played by none other than McLovin.
"What is this Kick Ass of which you speak?," you ask.
Well, devoted PK reader, Kick Ass is an (Marvel) Icon book by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. about a teenager who decides to become a vigilante and then has to clean up more blood than that in an elevator at the Overlook Hotel. While neither Jono nor I enjoyed the book at all (check out our thoughts here), there certainly are enough people who enjoyed it (like the film's director and most outspoken fan, Mathew Vaughn).
