Manga-Nation: "The Manga-Train Keeps On Rolling"

napa-valley-wine-train.jpg

All aboard the manga train! Woo! Woo! First stop, Aurora Publishing, which releases new volumes of Hitohira and I Shall Never Return. Next stop is a quickie to Del Ray, who only has one book out. It's ok though, because Negima's always a nice site to see. Our next stop is Net Comics with a new Let Dai and two whole volumes of Totally Captivated! After that, we arrive at Viz, who brings us a new issue of Shojo Beat and a new volume of Vagabond. Our last stop is at the Yen Press station, where you'll find new entries of Kaze no Hana, World of Quest, and Y Square waiting for you. First time passengers on the manga train this week are Object Of Desire, Red Blinds The Foolish, and Adventures Of Young Det.

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
