Il Palazzo's Weekly Heroes Rant!

Welcome to Il Palazzo's Weekly Heroes Rant! Each week, I hope to inspire you to get off your couch (after watching Heroes), and jump into your computer chair (so you can read about Heroes). Beware though, I'll be recapping each episode as it airs, so spoilers will abound. Look forward to my often-wrong theories, erratic comments, and comparisons to the comics the show steals material from is inspired by. Hit the jump for my rant on this week's episode!
So...Claire's NOT the catalyst? If that's the case, why did Hiro make her tag along?
Aww...Sylar seemed sad when he was burning his young lover. Guess he should have thought about that before killing her.
Has anyone else noticed that with all the Heroes wrapped up in their sibling rivalries, etc. that no one has really done any heroics lately?
Wow...Pinehurst is making supersoldiers! Think we'll discover Arthur has Nazi ties somewhere down the line?
Shouldn't Claire be a bit more freaked out about changing her own diaper?
Wasn't it just a couple of episodes that Sylar figured out how to not cut people's heads off to get powers? I guess it can be explained that he's in a hurry and doesn't have time to get to know office worker girl....but (I know I've asked this before) can't he just touch someone to know everything about them anyway? Why does he even need a lie detector?
Hm...Claire was supposed to be born in the late 80's, right? I don't remember cordless phones looking so sleek then.
Say what you will about the current state of the show. It's little moments like the one between Hiro and his mom that keep me coming back.
The catalyst was Hiro's mom's power? What? I assumed it was some sort of injection. Almost seemed...supernatural?
Wait, wait, wait. If Arthur stole Hiro's power, does that mean he had it in the future to go back in time to get it in the first place? My head hurts.
Yay, Sylar! Attaway to use your powers for...good? Evil maybe? Uh...well you took out Arthur at least. Thanks for that.
How did Arthur not know this was coming? Don't you think that if he had the ability to time travel, he would have went to the future to plan ahead?
Well, Arthur's out of the picture (for now. I somehow doubt he'll stay dead), but the formula's "ready." The repercussions should be pretty interesting to watch.

Arthur isn't dead, since he had Adam and Claire's power of healing, which seems to suggest that the back part of the brain needs to be damaged to prevent the healing.
This is my guess as to how they are going to bring him immediately back from being shot in the head.
This show is a hot mess.
I believe that Arthur would have acquired his time travel powers earlier, when he absorbed Peter's powers, which would include Hiro's.
I just hope the continuity police within the show remember he has healing powers.
If the Haitian's power is will-full (that is, he himself can turn it on or off), does that mean Sylar could still it?
That makes sense, Robert. Somehow Arthur having Peter's powers completely slipped my mind.
I never even thought of the Haitian's power as being will-full. I assumed it was always on all the time. But if he had that much trouble with Arthur, how was he ever able to hang around Sylar? Or even Peter, for that matter?
