Il Palazzo's Weekly Heroes Rant!

Welcome to Il Palazzo's Weekly Heroes Rant! Each week, I hope to inspire you to get off your couch (after watching Heroes), and jump into your computer chair (so you can read about Heroes). Beware though, I'll be recapping each episode as it airs, so spoilers will abound. Look forward to my often-wrong theories, erratic comments, and comparisons to the comics the show steals material from is inspired by. Hit the jump for my rant on this week's episode!
OMG. The Haitian's emoting.
Did Peter just admit he has a hero complex? About time.
Wait....why didn't Noah shoot Elle and Sylar when he had a better shot?
And, they just had sex. Way to add to the creepy factor. Hey Elle. That guy you just boinked? Yeah, he killed your dad. Remember that? Like...5 episodes ago? Remember mourning? Oh. Me neither.
Weird how the "god" thing came back to Nathan in a different way.
Heh. It looks like Mohinder's in an emergency cram session. Odd that this is the first time I've seen him crack a book that wasn't the one his father wrote.
Why does Seth Green have a beard? Looks weird.
Yay, they FINALLY explained how 9th Wonders kept going. Makes you wonder though. After the sketchbook storyline wraps up (and you KNOW there's gonna be one), what will they do?
Haha, I saw Claire's eyes twich when she was supposed to be dead.
Was anyone else expecting Peter to miraculously get his power back from the eclipse?
HAHAHAHA. Hiro Nakamura. Best. Hero. Ever. "Bad Guy." *poof*
Is Nathan even listening to himself? Does he really think giving people power won't be WORSE then people using guns?
Well, I didn't think Sylar would be the one to kill Elle, but I guess we had to get not-Gabriel back at some point.
Speaking of which....can't Sylar touch people and know everything about em'? Couldn't he have touched Elle to figure out the truth about his parents? Or maybe he already did...
Geez. Claire really likes to curse, doesn't she?
This was the first episode in a while that made me instantly want next week's installment. Can't wait!

My feelings are very mixed about this current season. It's definitely better than the last season, but it's still not as good as the first. I could see it coming a mile away that once the eclipse was over their powers would return, and yes, I still expect that Peter will have regained his original power now that the eclipse has happened. I think all the powers that he's absorbed, like invisibility, and especiallly Claire's healing ability, are gone. That explains why Claire was able to kill Future Peter. We know that Peter reabsorbs/mimics/whatever Hiro's teleportation power because that's what Future Peter used to get back to the past.
Oh, and this season, Hiro has grown on me. Before, I was a little annoyed at how geeky he was, but after last week's corn-throwing moment, and this week's "Bad Guy" moment, I'm liking Hiro much more.
I didn't like Future Peter at all. He was just a walking plot hole. There was NO good reason that he couldn't still have access to Claire's power (especially when Claire and Sylar came back from the dead after the eclipse wore off). I think it's just one of those annoying plot points they'll never get back to (like every other alternate future they've created).
And the current Hiro is ADORABLE. I hope that when he gets his memory back, he doesn't turn too serious again.
Ugh. WHY DONT THE BENNETTS MOVE AWAY FROM THAT HOUSE!!?!??!?!?!
The Haitian was near Peter when he got shot hence why no restoring power...
Elle was my fav hero :(
@Elian: This is their third house isn't it? Possibly the second. I guess you could argue that they want to give stability to the one normal kid...if he was ever around.
@Emil: True, but the second the Haitian leaves, couldn't he just regenerate? It doesn't really matter, the less seen of Future Peter the better.
This season actually appeals to me less than the 2nd for some reason. I'm so tired of how quickly they wrap up storylines. Remember season one and how LONG it took to "save the cheerleader, save the world?"
My god...this season fixes problems faster than Daphne runs. What's the point of even having cliff-hangers any more? I find myself rolling my eyes at least once every issue (oops! I mean EPISODE!) because of some obvious fix or a Hiro-created-deus-ex-machina after the commercial that 'makes everything better.'
And Sylar is back to being a bad guy...with the hunger...and already had Elle's powers...and cuts her head open anyway...WHAT?!?!!!
Jesus...bring back Battlestar Galactica already because Heroes is just irritating now. It's a shame because I would actually afk from WoW to watch the show...now I just DVR it and watch on Tuesday.
