Heroes Doing Some Real Good
We all know who the real life heroes are - policemen, firemen, EMTs, etc. They are due all the recognition they receive and more.
That said, how about when good old comic book characters jump off the page and do some work for us flesh and blood folks. And no, I'm not talking about amusement park actors.
Mental Floss has a nifty little list of the five superheroes that made a real world difference in our lives. Some are pretty direct, others a little 'round the bend, but all of them did have an impact on us real people.
