Giving Gifts? Buy From These LGBT-Friendly Stores

Those affable lads over at Fanboys of the Universe have drawn attention to the annual buying guide that's published by the Human Rights Campaign. For obvious reasons, they've spotlighted some of the best places to spend your money in relation to how they affect the LGBT community. Below is a small list, but the entrire guide can be downloaded in PDF right here.
Target, Sears, Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch, Starbucks, Chevron, Shell, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Anheuser-Busch, Coors, Electronic Arts, Apple, Microsoft, Mattel, Barnes & Noble, Borders, GameStop, eBay, Costco, Amazon
I'm glad that the two biggest receivers of patented Goblin Money are both on the list, Amazon and Target. I'm also kind of happy that my erstwhile employer, such as it is, GameStop, is on the list as well.
Happy shopping, PK readers!

For better or worse, I practically live at Target. It would have been terribly awkward if they hadn't made the list!
Wow the HRC actually did something somewhat useful.
Woo! GameStop Represent! XD
I'm glad that my corporate overseers don't care that I'm a gay cog in the wheel, so long as I'm a working cog.
I'm a little confused about the Coors listing considering that it's owned by Pete Coors who is an ultra-conservative would be politician who was a large donator and supporter of the gay marriage ban here in colorado. Then again Coors was the beer sponsor for Pride here too. I guess as long as the company has some good policies they overlook other things.
Yeah, Rocko--these things do get a little confusing.
Coors used to be a problem child as a corporation, but changed their ways. Similarly, eBay is listed, but is helmed by the ultra-conservative Meg Whitman.
I think it's right to focus on the official policies--as that's all HRC can really work to change--and those do have legal ground, but it would be nice to see an appended unofficial list of which corporations lead to you unintentionally helping some conservative owner or shareperson.
