This week our gator comrade has a whole slew of movie news, which is apt since the new Punisher: War Zone opens in theaters today. I myself will be seeing on Saturday, so the bloodshed and carnage will have to wait a day.
With that, let's raise the curtains and everyone better be quiet while the movie's playing. Enjoy the show!

BAM! ... Let's begin the cinema onslaught with a tidbit about a possible Punisher 3. Director of Punisher: War Zone Lexi Alexander has already stated that she will not be returning for a third film if it's made. Her choice for director? Frank Castle himself - Ray Stevenson.

BAM! ... Jumping tot he Warner Bros. lot, just what the hell is going on with the new Superman movie? Will it be a second reboot? A sequel? A fake sequel like Superman Returns? Bryan Singer may know something, but he's not talking ... unless you ask him about Valkryie.

BAM! ... Two of the best comic book movies of all time are officially up for their first awards - against one another! Both The Dark Knight and Iron Man have been nominated for a Grammy because of their original scores. Personally, I like Iron Man's score better as it seemed much more different and yet related tot he film more.

BAM! ... Huh? What? You want more Lexi Alexander news? Who am I to disappoint? This time around it doesn't involve a comic book gunsligner in Hell's Kitchen, but in the Old West.

BAM! ... Because there have been so many stories and so many jokes made at this film's expense already, I don't even feel it's worth it to add to the pile. Suffice it to say, George Miller's Justice League film may actually be dead for good.
