As much as I find the art above average, and dig the idea of an animated Emma Frost...the idea of Wolverine being the pep-talk giving team leader just weirds me out. I'm not sure if its a deal breaker yet, but Professor Xavier's pseudo-cryptic "Only you can help us" prophecies make it worse. :(

I wish Marvel would stop playing physical multiple personality disorder with Bobby.
He's got brown hair people. Not blond, brown.

And I wish Marvel would try having something that doesn't have Wolverine as dead-center of everything. What with him being on every cover, the main character in about 90% of the X-Men stories and pretty much the single most important character in the whole Ultimates universe...

While I'm not Wolverine's biggest fan, I've caught the first ten episodes of the series (It is running in Canada already) and have to say that fans are in for a shocking discovery, the show is really good. Wolverine is still Wolverine, and while he gets the most screen time, the other members of the team and the myriad of guest stars keep the show from becoming a one man grunting fest.

Well as TheDoctor said, the series is actually very good. You kind of get the feeling of the old 90's series, where you were able to see different characters from the books. But what really has me thrown off is the animation. I don't know why but it seems a little "cheap" or basic for lack of a better word. It would be nice to see the X-Men with an animation similar to the one used for Justice League, but still the series is worth your watching time!

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
