Perry Moore's Hero Becoming A Series

Well after teasing us with information about the project this year at Comic-Con, Stan Lee and Perry Moore have finally announced that Hero, Perry's novel about a young gay superhero, is being turned into an hour-long series on Showtime.
I was actually expecting this to end up a movie or mini-series, an ongoing series is a pleasant surprise. Congratulations go out to Perry Moore for his success in bringing gay characters to TV and thanks go out to Stan Lee for being such a friend of the community (and just an awesome guy in general).

I would be excited about this if I got Showtime! Until then I'm just depressed cause I won't get to watch it...
THIS IS SOO FUCKING AWESOME !!!
Noooooo!!!!!!
This book is a piece of crap. I could write an entire book myself just filled with its flaws.
I can't believe they're actually making a series out of it. Ugh!
ougeoman, it will come out on DVD eventually.
Nexus, maybe this will give him a chance to fix some of the flaws in the book, now that he'll have more time to develop characters and story?
