pancakes-ck-222326-l.jpg

This week, we have a nice balance of releases from each publisher. CMX (DC's manga branch) has new volumes of Shin-Chan and Gon. Del Ray brings us a new helping of Dragon Eye and Kitchen Princess. And Viz gives us giant portions with a few art books (Bleach, Dragon Ball, and Full Moon, respectively), along with regular releases of Fullmetal Alchemist and O Parts Hunter. Some new scrumptious debuts include a Code Geass novel from Bandai, Classical Medley from CMX, Papillon from Tokyopop, and Love Quest from Yen Press.

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
