Moment Of The Week #8

Well last week Ruby Summers blasted the competition easily for Moment of the Week! Just like the old saying goes, never underestimate a girl made out of living gemstone with laser eyes.
This week we take a look at some astounding moments from last weeks Spider-Man: Secret Invasion, Wolverine, New Avengers, Final Crisis: Rogue's Revenge, Ultimate X-Men and Thunderbolts. (Marvel heavy, last week)
So join me after the jump, and be warned. Spoilers lie beyond. So if you still have to pick up any of these books, don't read ahead because it'll ruin the surprise!
Final Crisis: Rogues Revenge #2
So, the Rogues were already kind of pissed off, but when they go to see Gambi, the man who makes their suits, and find him dead, they're understandably peeved. When they find out it was done by a group of impostors using their old weapons to do it, then it was time for blood. The fake Rogues do not fare well, but the worst is one the Weather Wizard takes out last...
OW... Just... OW
Secret Invasion: Spider-Man
Well, the real Spidey is still in the Savage Land, but in this issue, we get to see what's going with Mary Ja... I mean, Jackpot (rolls eyes). Anyway, she bumps into... Spider-Man? Ok, it's a Skrull, but what follows is the literal physical incarnation of everything that ever happens to Spider-man, ever.
WHUD.
Wolverine #68
The old man Logan story is rapidly growing on me, but be warned this one is kinda gruesome. Hawkeye's daughter gets rescued and then she takes out the new Kingpin by...
That's right, she decapitates him with the butt end of a shotgun. I retract my previous OW and apply it here instead. This dystopian future is indeed disturbing.
New Avengers #44
So we finally learn how the Skrulls figured out a way to remain undetected on earth. They realized Mr. Fantastic was the only one smart enough to figure out how to beat Mr. Fantastic, and just kept cloning him and trying to force the clone to tell them how to do it. Here's one of their failed attempts.
Brutal. He didn't give in though. It took something more subtle to trick a Reed clone into revealing it.
Ultimate X-Men #97
Northstar isn't dead.
'Nuff Said.
Thunderbolts #123
The Thunderbolts go all out trying to stop the Skrull invasion, and are doing pretty good, a few treacheries aside. However, the Skrulls made plans on how to stop Norman, apparently, as he rounds a corner in a Skrull ship to find this...
Ohhhh.... That's not a good laugh is it...
Now make with the voting!

Good choices this week, but Wolverine takes the cake.
Rogue's Revenge for the win. Johns is the only writer who can do the Rogue's right.
