Amazon Continues Its Bid For World Domination
The sales behemoth known as Amazon.com has entered into yet another field of retail. You are now able to use Amazon's magazine service to get comic books delivered right to your door via that magical word "subscription."
While this may not be a huge deal in the immediate sense since you can get mail order subscriptions from several online direct market shops, but it does say something about the place of comics in popular culture. Amazon is one of the largest retailers in the world and adding comic book subscriptions to their inventory should open them up to a new audience.
Here's hoping, anyway.
