AGGROgator: Iced Gator Makes A Summer Treat

I have returned to you, dear readers, from the murky waters of New Mexico and (unexpectedly) the City of Angels. Between terrible rental cars (damn Chrysler) to insane heat, it's a wonder I managed to survive at all. But I couldn't walk into the white light while knowing that my work here is not done.
So I'm back in the swing of things and the first order of business is to ... turn over the keyboard to someone else? What a gyp!
Here's your fix of that irascible gator that you've come to love 'lo these many months past. I'm gonna go watch X-Files on DVD.
__________
BAM! ... We'll start this week's column off on a lighter note as Rich from Comic By Comic looks at superheroes as if they were celebrities int he real world. It's a neat concept is probably more true than anything else.
_____
BAM! ... PJ Perez over at Pop Goes the Icon! takes a look at this really small indie book. I think it's called Ultimate Spider-Man or something. It's just such a small press book I couldn't find anything on the internet about it. Good luck trying to find it on the stands!
_____
BAM! ... Have you ever wondered where the gay contingent is in the Star Wars universe? Well, so has Valerie D'Orazio. Jump over to her blog, Occasional Superheroine for the full rundown.
_____
BAM! ... Looking for a knockdown, drag out fight? There isn't much that can inspire anger and animosity among fanboys as a comic book movie debate. The Bad Genius has you covered so you don't have to waste money on bandages and trips to the ER. Good for them.
_____
BAM! ... Come with me to last week as the review crew stumbles around - er, I mean, diligently and expertly reviewed several books. Check out the review for Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane. If it's something that might interest you, you can read the first issue for yourself via Marvel's ironically named Digital Comics Unlimited.
_____
BAM! ... Major Spoilers is reporting some trouble with the Kick-Ass film currently in preproduction with Mathew Vaughn directing. Not a great tragedy as the Jono and Goblin both agreed that the book is not exactly the best in graphic fiction, but it does seem right up the alley of the man who directed Layer Cake.

I'd like to report some trouble with the Kick-Ass comic coming out on a regular schedule.
;)
Thanks as always for the aggro-gatorious love.
