Whedon's Gift To The Supervillain Musical Genre Goes Live!
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along's second act just went up! After the debut of Act I on Tuesday (apologies for not reporting it then), you can now watch both acts on their website. Watch Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day (from the WoW web series, The Guild) as they sing their way through Joss Whedon's bizarre, surreal world of superheroes (and supervillains).
Act I was a little awkward and I get the impression that the cast and crew were trying to get their footing.
Act II is definitely better than the first, with catchier lyrics and a better sense of humor. Just watch!
Act III is set to debut this Saturday, July 19.
All three acts will be available for free for a week. After that, you will be able to download the three-part saga for $1.99 each on iTunes.
Down the line, Whedon plans on releasing a DVD with extra features so I would personally wait for that cool release.
