Weekly Wallpaper: It's Getting Hot In Here

Weekly Wallpaper.jpg

Welcome to the home improvement wing of the Gay Gamer Castle. Mondays are all about sprucing up the everyday and that means a new desktop wallpaper for your computer!

This week we bring you a nifty and well-timed graphic all about the weekend warrior himself, Hellboy! The image is the logo for the B.P.R.D., the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, and is both sleek and simple yet evocative of the government agency and its role. The B.P.R.D. is the government agency that takes care of all the less-than polite creatures of the night and employs the titular Hellboy as well as the waterlogged Abe Sapien and firecracker Liz Sherman.

the kickass wallpeper this week was created by Deviant Artist Reiko Sazanami. You'd do well to check out her gallery on Deviant Art as she has a host of other fun stuff to look at. Not content enough to allow me to run the artwork here, Reiko went above and beyond and created four separate sizes for those of you with different resolutions. No more unsightly stretching or cramping!

Thanks again go out to Reiko and be sure to check out Hellboy 2: The Golden Army in theaters now!

So take off all your cothes.

Haha J/p! Yeah I totally dug the movie too! The scene with the elemental plant thing was my favorite.

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
