Hey, guess what movie is coming out next year that I don't care a lick about?
(Before I get burned in effigy, I like the book just fine. I just don't think it can justly translated to the screen.)
UPDATE Now that you've had the chance to watch it, what'd you think?

I too am skeptical of making the book into a movie, but I'll still watch it with my friends.
The trailer wasn't bad, and I like their take on Dr. Manhattan... but I'm with you, Gobby. I really don't think it'll work on the big screen.
Unfortunately I'm not elitist enough to hate on it... :-)
I can't wait!
I'm excited about it. At the very least, it looks visually accurate, and they seem to be sticking to the plot for the most part, and are even replicating scenes.
I just wish Rorschach's voice was gruffer.
the movie may suck but OMFG the trailer. I'm only supporting it because it has the best quote a villian can have.
Although I never enjoy hearing Billy Corgan, I am looking forward to it even more now.
