Sonic Speeds Into The Guinness Records

Those lovable scamps over at Archie Comics have a bit of news today. Their (and Sega's) blue speedster, Sonic the Hedgehog, has been entered into the Guinness Book of World Records.
At 14 years and over 180 issues, Sonic's comic book series has been named the longest running comic based on a video game. It may not seem as big a record as insanely long fingernails, it's impressive for any book to run for 14 years let alone one based on a character from another company and industry.
Congratulations to the Sonic team and Archie Comics!

Wow gratz Sonic. Hope his next game is fun...
And I could use a CUINNESS right about now.
I was a little surprised to see Archie misspell the name of the book in their own press release, but there you have it.
hehehhe cuinness...that just sounds like it would get me in trouble...
