Moment Of The Week #2

We return! Last week Captain Britain won the vote for Moment of the Week. Who will be the champion this week? We'll show you what we consider the outstanding, amazing, or shocking moments from last weeks books, and you decide which was the best.
Our contenders - Captain America, Marvel 1985, Spike: After the Fall, Final Crisis: Rogues Revenge, and Mighty Avengers.
So join me after the jump, and be warned. Spoilers lie beyond. So if you still have to pick up any of these books, don't read ahead because it'll ruin the surprise!
Marvel 1985 #3
So Marvel's 1985 series is our world, as it is now, with the sudden and unfortunate addition of Marvel's villains. So let it be said that MODOK may be silly in the Marvel Universe, but here...
Yes, that's MODOK making a town drown itself. Including children and babies. Yikes.
Captain America #40
So Captain America from the 1950's has somehow ended up in the present, and is being affected by the Red Skull. This is all well and good, but something unfortunate happens as Sharon Carter attempts to escape from the Red Skulls lair...
I should mention... Sharon is pregnant. Possibly with Capt. Americas baby... Or... was. Oh My.
Final Crisis: Rogues Revenge
This one is happier I promise. The Rogues are back in town, and about to hang up the life of crime! Someone else is back too, someone out to clear his name.
Piper lives! And the gay character count goes back up by one! Woot! How he survived an exploding planet I'm not sure but whatever.
Spike: After the Fall
I'm not an expert on the Buffy Universe, but apparently since the show the world's gone to hell, literally. Spike seems to wandering around LA, and the comic makes a nice little dig at another show that featured...
Hehe... take that WB.
Mighty Avengers #16
Our final contestant this week... Mighty Avengers continues to go over just what the Skrulls have been up to. I want to point out here, I'm showing this part, but the sequence before this, where the Skrulls send warriors to take Elektra's place... is also freaking amazing. I'd put it here but that'd be like half the issue. However, this scene reveals...
That's right. Elektra was replaced for the sole purpose of dying and messing with the heads of the Avengers. That is some seriously messed up psychological warfare. Also, Skrullesbian smooches.
And now it's time to vote! Which comic will earn the completely uncoveted Moment of the Week prize!? (No cash awarded) You Decide! We'll tally the votes and award them absolutely nothing next week!
