Hellboy's Coming

Before Guillermo del Toro found himself nominated for an Oscar there was Hellboy. The 2004 comic book adaption did decent enough box office to garner a sequel. Four years, and quite a few interesting film trailers, later the tale continues.
Opening Friday it seems to hold all the promise that the comic holds dear - action and adventure that brings dry wit in spades.
So - do we have any Hellboy lovers in our midst? Any haters? Discuss!

huge hellboy fan, both the comic and the film. it was really lovely to see guillermo del toro come into his own as a filmmaker - i've been a fan of his since "the devil's backbone," and hellboy was a perfect venue, with its lovecraftian aesthetic.
then, of course, del toro has to go and get all famous for pan's labyrinth. that's all fine and dandy with me, because he always said he wanted hellboy to be a trilogy, and if he hadn't had so much success with the labyrinth, this film might not have gotten made.
i assume he'll be making the third one with hobbit money.
anyway, mignola's awesome, but so's lovecraft.
Am all excited. HB1 was awesome, as was every other GDT movie. I thought I saw one of the Pan creatures in the trailer. (the pale one sitting at the table which chases the girl).
I loves me some Hellboy...
