Comic-con '08: Rocket Boy And More
I don't have the best camera, but I couldn't just go to comic-con and not bring back at least a couple of photos of the coolness surrounding me, much of it from the con-goers themselves.
For example, the above pair are promoting a comic coming out this October called Rocket Boy. I have no idea what it's about but I'm definitely going to check it out after seeing these two. It was extremely brave of them to walk around the con like that, given that not everyone would be as... enthusiastic as I was. (Also, I saw the robot with his helmet off later, and he is just as cute as the one in red)

The second picture is Parthenon from the TV show "Who wants to be a superhero?" on Sci Fi Channel, hosted by Stan Lee. Please note: He's not dressed AS Parthenon. That's actually the guy that competed in the show. He did well but didn't win, and he was openly gay.
Oh I feel silly.
Unfortunately I didn't have cable for Season 2.

Yes, I am a guy. So, I ended up looking at their crotches and saw that the robot had some sort of small tin on his front. I wonder what is in it, something for robot parts, or just a robot part that we would eerily like looking at?
Oh my.... that rocket boy model could get away with wearing such a crazy outfit.
HA ha! I loved Rocket Boy! I got his magnet and I need to dig it out of my swag bag and plaster it to the fridge. I freaking LOVED those New Avenger Cosplayers! I should have bugged them more for photos!
Okay, the Rocket Boy is good, but those Wiccan and Hulkling costumes effing rock!

Actually I DID get a pic of the Marvel BFs. In fact, they were posed with Wiccan and Hulkling there. (woo! foursome!)
However, I happened to catch them as one was blinking from the flash of another camera, and I decided not to post it cause it would have been unflattering.
Does anyone think that Wiccan from the first pic looks like Parthenon? I think it is the same guy! Or am I just crazy here?
