Midnighter #20 T_T

Maybe I'll follow the authority when it starts up.

on a batman kick at the moment (though i'm frequently on a batman kick), so rereading my absolute edition of hush, then finally getting to the resurrection (number what, like, 537 now?) of ra's al ghul, since it's been collected in trade and i couldn't be bothered to actually pick up an individual issue of robin when the thing actually happened.

i eagerly await issue twelve of all-star superman, though since there was such a relatively short span of time between 10 and 11, i'll likely be waiting for another few months...

I'm going to catch up on some MAX books (Foolkiller, Terror Inc., etc) and bang out a few limited series that have ended but I never got around to reading ... hopefully.

I just bought a ton of manga last night. The biggest buy was the Vizbig edition of Dragon Ball (literally. It weighed down all my other books). We'll see how I like it...

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
