If you have a desktop or two that you love and want it spread among the masses, you can send it to me at Goblin@PinkKryptonite.com. I will be glad to spotlight it in an upcoming column

I love Dustin Nguyen's work (even if I can't pronounce his name correctly); but seriously, everyone in that picture are guys! :P

(Otherwise, it's very cool!)

He's actually made mention that he plans an all female version of the image, he just hasn't had the time to complete it yet.

omg its adorable.

I think the last name is pronounced like the words "win" or "when."

Goblin said:

I went to school with someone who spelled their name the same and we pronounced it "Nuh-guy-in." He may say it differently, I don't know.

I grew up with a fairly large Vietnamese population at my school...most pronounced it (for anglo ears) "newen", but I know the native speaker has a different pronunciation.

clarkspecial said:

@ jono - Yeah I grew up with some vietnamese friends and I've heard it pronounced that way as well. I'm hungry for some Pho now.

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
