Unsurprisingly, Hulk Takes the Weekend, Though He Doesn't Exactly Smash.

I don't think too many people expected The Incredible Hulk to do quite as well as Iron Man, or other bigger Marvel movies. It didn't even match the take of The Hulk, which was $73 million in today's prices. Still, it's just the first weekend, and after the other Hulk movie it's not much of a surprise many people decided to wait and see what others thought.

So, what did other's think? I'll likely go next weekend, I was away this weekend. Remember, put a spoiler warning if needed!

It is my humble opinion that if anyone wants to see a good hulk film, then run don't walk to the theater because INCREDIBLE HULK IS GOOD!!!

the first 3/4 is good. Realistic in a big budget movie way.
The last 1/4 not so much. That professor couldn't have been more annoying and useless. It really did turn into a cartoon from this point on.
And I really, really LOVE the hulk! It kinda scares my BF!

I thought it pretty pitch perfect and one of my now favorite comic adaptions.

It was nice to see the character developed and although the ending (related to the professor) does seem to be there to simply set up a franchise future... I really hope Marvel gets things okay with Norton and can make another

I thought it was a great movie. (I also liked the Ang Lee one).

I also hope Marvel and Norton patch things up for future movies.

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
