New World Of Warcraft Mini-Series Dings Into Existence

wow-ashbringer.gif

As your resident WoW player, I'm very excited to report that a second Wildstorm WoW title is in the works, though it looks like it will only be a four issue mini-series. The book, which is called World of Warcraft: Ashbringer, will introduce the mythos behind the eponymous, legendary weaponr; you know, that unattainable, lore-rich sword that Blizzard continues to deny us.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT: ASHBRINGER #1

Written Micky Neilson
Art by Ludo Lullabi and Tony Washington
Cover by Chris Robinson
Variant cover by Ludo Lullabi & Tony Washington

As the Lich King's plague of undeath ravages the human kingdom of Lordaeron, a mighty blade is forged from a dark orb! In the hands of Highlord Alexandros Mograine, the blade will become legend. In time, both blade and man will become . . . Ashbringer. In anticipation of the eagerly awaited game expansion, WORLD OF WARCRAFT: WRATH OF THE LICH KING, WildStorm and Blizzard have created this 4-issue miniseries written by Blizzard Creative Director Micky Neilson and featuring art by Ludo Lullabi and Tony Washington.

This issue will feature two covers. For every 10 copies of the Standard Edition (with a cover by Chris Robinson), retailers may order one copy of the Variant Edition (with a cover by Lullabi and Washington).

Looking good! Keep an eye out for the title when it hits shelves September 10!

And here we go again.
More pro-Alliance.
Really, I've given up on Blizzard releasing anything not pro-Alliance.

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Avengers: The Children's Crusade #1 I literally clapped my hands together and said OhMyGodYesssss when the friendly staff member at my regular shop held this book out to hand it to me. Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung finally - finally - return to this title with a nine issue limited series. I will spare you paragraphs of pontification and cut to the chase: it's not just good, it's the best thing Marvel has going, period. Read on for the pontification and petty quibbles!...
