LGBT Character Of The Week: Flying Fox

This week's hero hails from Astro City, Flying Fox! Also know as Samantha Cronin, she's the daughter of a senator and a political aide. Very little is known about her as she is early in her crime fighting career, but she is know to have saved a busload of children from a street gang.

Fox is openly gay in her civilian identity with a girlfriend named Kath, but has not revealed this information in her superhero identity. She has no superpowers, but is an athlete and fighter with a flying motorcycle!

Comic of the Week

Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
