LGBT Character Of The Week: Doop?
Doop is an oddity. He was the floating, green cameraman (camerathing?) for superteam X-Statix. Captain America once claimed he was an American superweapon with enough power to destroy the world. Whatever he is, he speaks in his own language that only a few people in the Marvel Universe seem to understand. (and is indecipherable on the comic page) He has also been romantically linked to women, men, and a superpowered mink stole. (seriously).
Doop is supposedly dead right now, but this is unsubstantiated as he has had his brain removed before and survived. The X-men also recently encountered a similar being named 'Daap' who may or not be related.
