Can't Wait for July 18th? Here's a Dark Knight Review to Help. Or is it "Make Worse"?

Peter Travers at Rolling Stone magazine has an early review for the upcoming Dark Knight movie. The review itself is pretty spoiler free, but it might have one or two for those who are trying to keep from being spoiled at all.
He's gives plenty of praise for the late Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker:
Ledger takes the role to the shadows, where even what's comic is hardly a relief. No plastic mask for Ledger; his face is caked with moldy makeup that highlights the red scar of a grin, the grungy hair and the yellowing teeth of a hound fresh out of hell. To the clown prince of crime, a knife is preferable to a gun, the better to "savor the moment."
That sounds like how I always saw the Joker being portrayed at his worst; crazy, psychopathic, and funny. The Joker being funny is the kicker, making the audience feel bad for laughing with such a horrible person.
It's just one review and after the first movie, I don't think too many people were worried about this one. Still, it's nice to see something so positive about it; that makes me all the more excited for the movie! Granted, I've been really excited ever since I went to the Dark Knight panel at Wizard World Chicago last year, but that's beside the point.
