LGBT Character Of The Week: Wing
This weeks character comes to us from the pages of Powers. Wing was a teenage sidekick to Batman-esque hero Red Hawk. During a murder investigation, Wing admits he had fallen in love with Red Hawk at young age, and had eventually made a pass at him. The older hero, unable to deal with this, beat Wing severely enough to require hospitalization. During this time, Red Hawk had Wing's possessions moved into a small apartment across town. Hawk's lawyer arrived at Wing's bedside with a check for $750,000 and a confidentiality agreement. It's assumed that Wing gave up being a superhero, and starts living a mundane life. He is revealed to be currently living in San Diego and teaching a wine-making class.
