Week In Review: March 31-April 6
Happy Monday!
Another week has come and gone here at PK lair and as we look forward to an awesome week ahead, I'd like to take this time to point out some of the cool stuff you may have missed.
- We wrote an editorial in reaction to the Pride High comment storm.
- Marvel continued to give away free comics all week long. Seriously, their coffers must be stuffed.
- Orson Scott Card won an award, causing controversy within the LGBT community.
- Marvel's Secret Invasion invaded PK, with reviews, free comics, and price assessments.
- Our weekly reviews deemed the latest issues of Buffy and Young Avengers Presents to be awesome, and condemned Amazing Spider-Man in the process.
- A new Batman animated series, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, was announced...for a 2009 debut.
- Tori Amos and comic books combine like blood roses and jean-wearing mermaids (it's like peanut butter and jelly, trust me).
- Moondragon became our LGBT Character of the Week!
