The Women Behind The Men

Adam Hughes makes some pretty pictures, huh?
This little ditty is by the aforementioned artist for a poster to be released by DC. When released it will be called The Real Power of the DC Universe, which I'm hoping is less tongue-in-cheek than I'm thinking. Maybe I'm a little too cynical, but it seems like a joke.
Regardless of intent it's a beautifu piece of artwork that I can find only one thing wrong with. Why is Batwoman the only one wearing pants? Last I checked, Oracle was not an overtly feminine character in the stereotypical sense. It just seems odd that the lesbian character in the piece is the only one wearing pants, though I do think it's a great pose.

HOT! I love Adam Hughes' work
Obviously so she can do the "Man sit" where you spread your legs apart really wide.
That never works when you're in a skirt.
Also, who's the blond behind her? Supergirl? She's the only one I don't recognize.
I love Adam Hughes art! To get the original art - that would be a dream piece to own. Instead I will happily try to get to a con this year to get one of the prints.
I love me some Harley and Ivy but find it interesting that those two baddie made the cut and that Catwoman wasn't originally on it. But I love the reasoning for her in the black dress.

I read that it isn't Batwoman though - it's Lois. This is who someone claims these gals are.
Catwoman, Barbara Gordon, Zatanna, Black Canary, Powergirl, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Vixen, Lois Lane, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn
If that's true no Question/Renee or Batwoman - the lesbian power didn't make the cut. Yet Vixen did?
And if that is Lois in a pantsuit - no one tell Clark. Teeheee.
I think that's Batwoman. Lois hasn't had red hair in about 7 years. It's been short and black since Our Worlds At War.
That would be happy news but from what I read it is said one of the rings on her finger is the S symbol.
I can understand most of the choices except for Batwoman. Most of the other characters are power players or have been established for long enough that they could be identified without the costume. I'm not sure Betty Kane has that kind of power yet.(Though she is rocking that pose) I'd much rather see Renee' Montoya or Lois in there instead of her.

According to the site below, the actual poster has a tag line with the ladies' code names (which you can almost make out in the picture of the actual poster) and it is Batwoman.
