The Goddamn All Star Batman Is Injected With Some Needed Quitely

Frank Quitely, taking a break from his All Star Superman duties, has lent his skills to All Star Batman and the Boy Wonder #10, producing a stunning variant cover (shown here). Unfortunately, due to its over-the-top characterizations and absurd dialogue, All Star Batman is not on my pull list. The book continues to draw ire from fans and has become the punching bag for industry jokes, though some praise Jim Lee's artwork.
Regardless of the controversy, you have to admit that's a really nice cover.
The issue is on sale April 30th.
ASB&R #10 - QUITELY VARIANT COVER [Newsarama]
[Edited after much more caffeine was consumed. Never post when running on 2 hours of sleep. Thanks David B!]

This post is almost unreadable. Especially the last sentence. I'd suggest leaving the cute Variety-speak to Variety and a little more focus on complete thoughts in a paragraph...
I've actually never read Variety, but I'll take your word for it. :-)
The post has been edited to actually make sense now, I apologize to anyone who suffered through my daydream writing
Rather than buy the comic, I'll just right click and save the cover to my desk top. Cheaper that way. =)
Oh sure, everyone makes fun of this book now. One day people will look back on it and wish they could get hold of a copy, the same way they constantly forage for random insane Silver Age stuff.
I for one, love how retarded it is. But then, I am a person who looks at All Star Superman and sees a bland mess that receives far too much praise. I am told that this is not the Official Position to take.
Was this series with one scene where Batman was beating the crap out of Robin? At least that was all I remember the last time I checked it out.
Yeah I shouldn't flip through and look at scenes out of context.
