So Super Duper And Mark of Aeacus Nominated For 2008 Queerie Award!

Recently, So Super Duper and Mark of Aeacus have been nominated for the 2008 Queerie Award over at the Comic Book Queers Podcast.

PK readers should be familiar with Brian Andersen's So Super Duper, as it was our LGBT Comic of the Week a few weeks back. Mark of Aeacus, written by Charles "Zan" Christensen and drawn by Mark Brill, is a sensual thriller about a one night stand that becomes something supernatural. Comic of the Week

Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
