Pouches? Shoulder Pads? Obscured Feet? Oh Hey It's Another Liefield Project

Liefieldmain.jpg

Rob Liefield (who's work is no stranger to PK) recently sat down with Newsarama to discuss his upcoming take on the Apocalypse, Armageddon Now: World War III. In the interview he talks about his religious beliefs and how they've influenced this "Tom Clancy-ish, Dan Brown" epic. He actually creeps me out a bit in his zealotry in telling the tale of the End of Days, but all of that was quickly taken away as soon as his art was revealed.

As evidenced by this hilarious article from Progressive Boink, Liefield has a penchant for drawing muscles, pouches, and shoulder pads. He also tries very, very hard to never draw feet.

Sadly (or humorously, depending on your mood) these cliches somehow managed to survive well into Armageddon as evidenced by the supplied preview art.

What do you folks think? Will his book be worth getting? Will Liefield ever learn to embrace feet?

I'd make a witty comment insulting this project and Liefeld, but what's the point anymore?

seriously, though - that progressive boink thing? thanks ever so much for that. i've been pissing myself laughing the whole time - it's tremendous. XD

I have refused to buy another one of his books until i am sent a sketchbook filled with ankles. He must draw me 900 ankles before i consider buying his books ever again. My lawyer is currently drafting a letter that says as much.

I see he's still big on moobs.

I'll simply reiterate my comment on that earlier post about whether or not Liefeld should be allowed to live: No. If he must be killed to stop him from releasing more crap upon the world, then so be it. I'd suggest breaking his fingers, but that might actually help his work.

XRumer is the premier automated link-building tool. Through the use of this tool you will see a significant increase in the number of unique visitors to your site, as well as see your site jump in the search engine result pages.

2. Isn't it a spam-bot? In no way XRumer acts like a spam-bot since spam is defined in legislation as 'unsolicited email', whereas XRumer simply posts messages created by users, which cannot be illegal providing the user does not violate the legislation by provoking racial hatred or anything prohibited by the law. Besides, in most cases XRumer is smart enough to find sections like 'Flood', 'Off topic', 'Flame', 'Chit-chat' where advertising takes place with the permission from moderators and webmasters. XRumer is not an email spam bomber and should not be confused with such software. The laws of USA, Russia, Canada, Spain, Germany, France and other countries explicitly state the illegal nature of email spam which XRumer has nothing to do with.

XRumer best program for advertisement!
