new universal Is Returning, Jim Shooter Still Missing
new universal, the books launched in 2006 by Warren Ellis and Salvador Larrocca has been missing from shelves for a while. After the first two issues sold out and went back to print, it disappeared after issue #6.
That is about to change as the first spin-off limited series is about to hit stands. new universal: shockfront promises to introduce us to another person affected by powers similar to Nightmask, Starbrand and the others. I'll be happy to see another few pages with someone talking to the Superflow.
Sadly, Larrocca has move don to other projects (or may only be doing the main series, that remains to be seen), but we get artist Steve Kurth who wasn't bad on the recent Last of the Mohicans adaptation.
