Free Comics Yay!
In an effort to whore out cross promote the Iron Man and Hulk movies, Marvel is going to be releasing a free sampler book starring the two Avengers. Sporting this nifty dual cover, the book will be used to snag new readers interested in the movies. While the content is all-ages and does contain some of the Marvel Adventures line, it will also give some infor on the upcoming Invincible Iron Man book.
The release date of April 23rd is a little odd as it's just a week or so before Free Comic Book Day. Marvel is supposed to release an X-Men book (probably an X-Men: First Class story), but why not just package this one as the FCBD offering? Did they ant the best of both worlds or is there something more sinister going on?
Okay, they probably thought of this after the cutoff for FCBD and decided to go with it anyway, but still, it's fun to point fingers.
