Batman Returns! No Not The Movie, In Cartoon Form!
Cartoon Network has just announced that they will be bringing Batman: The Brave and the Bold to its network,
The good news is that the same people behind the canceled WB animated series, Legion of Superheroes, will be on board to produce and provide voice acting. The series will also focus on Batman as well as his erstwhile JLA teammates, such as Aquaman and Green Arrow.
The bad news is that the series isn't expected to debut until next March. Yes you read that right. 2009. Yeesh, what a tease.
I was a huge fan of the original Batman: The Animated Series back in the early 90s, and in fact, that's where I got all my information about him and the DC universe. I tried watching Batman Beyond after that, but I just couldn't get into the series. Enjoy this tantalizing teaser image! You have a whole year to salivate.
