1985 Covers Revealed: Reek Of Awesomeness

Marvel1985_CheungCovers.jpg

Mark Millar's 1985 mini-series is shrouded in a veil of secrecy, but what we do know is that somehow, Fantastic Four, Wolverine, 1985, and Kick-Ass will all intersect at some point. I know, it sounds bizarre, but consider that Millar is known for his Millarverse creations and that he will be writing all four series and it starts to come into place.

The first issue of 1985 is due May 14th, but please take a gander at the incredible covers from artist Jim Cheung.

I'm kind of sad they ditched the Fumetti aspect of the book. I was intrigued before. I don't know if I'll get this now, it'll depend on just what the book is actually about.

Wow that cover reminds me of old Arthur Adams art! Totally appropriate for the title.

Comic of the Week

Review: Wonder Woman #1 - #5 OK, so a couple of unkind reviews from me of late. Does that mean I hate the whole New 52? No, not at all. Does it mean that I only enjoy the new characters? Definitely not. Case in point: Wonder Woman is one of my favorite books of the relaunch. I think it's very good, with strong writing, an excellent ambience and fantastic art. Read on for why this reboot is the first time I've ever subscribed to Wonder Woman!...
